Is it free to use?
Creating an account and browsing services is completely free. Users pay providers directly for their services. Providers keep 100% of what they earn - we don't take any commission.
For Users
How do I find a companion?
Browse our listings page or use the search filters to find companions by location, category, price, and availability. Review their profiles, read reviews from other users, and send them a message to arrange a meeting.
How do I pay for services?
Payment is arranged directly between you and the provider. Common methods include cash, bank transfer, or PayPal. The platform does not process payments.
Are providers verified?
No. We do NOT verify identities or conduct background checks. You are responsible for verifying anyone you choose to meet. Always meet in public first and follow our safety guidelines.
What if I have a bad experience?
You can leave a review to warn other users. If someone violates our Terms of Service, report them to our admin team. However, the platform is not responsible for user interactions or disputes.
For Providers
How much can I earn?
You set your own rates! We recommend starting FREE or £10-20/hr to build reviews, then increasing to £15-50/hr as you gain reputation. Average is around £15/hr. Top-rated providers earn £500+ per month.
Do I need experience?
No formal experience required! Just be yourself and offer what you're comfortable with - whether that's being a dinner companion, movie partner, tour guide, mentor, or just a friendly face.
How do I get paid?
You arrange payment directly with clients using your preferred method (cash, bank transfer, PayPal, etc). You keep 100% of your earnings - we don't take any fees or commission.
What services can I offer?
Anything platonic and legal! Popular services include dinner companionship, movie dates, coffee chats, mentoring, tour guiding, fitness activities, event attendance, shopping trips, and friendly conversation.
How do I get more bookings?
Complete your profile with quality photos, write a compelling bio, set competitive rates, respond quickly to messages, and provide excellent service to earn 5-star reviews. Use instant availability and discount features to stand out.
Safety & Trust
Is it safe to meet people from the platform?
Your safety is YOUR responsibility. We are a discovery service only and do NOT verify users or guarantee safety. Always meet in public first, verify identities, tell someone where you're going, and follow our comprehensive safety guidelines.
What should I do if someone makes me uncomfortable?
Trust your instincts and don't proceed with the meeting. You can block them on the platform and report their behavior to our admin team. If you feel threatened, contact local authorities immediately.
How do I verify someone's identity?
Request a video call before meeting, check their social media profiles, look for reviews from other users, and consider using third-party background check services. Never meet someone you haven't verified.
Platform & Policies
What is the platform responsible for?
We provide the platform to connect users and providers. We are NOT responsible for verifying users, ensuring safety, managing payments, or mediating disputes. Users and providers interact independently.
Can I get a refund?
The platform does not process payments, so we cannot issue refunds. Payment disputes must be resolved directly between users and providers.
How do I delete my account?
Contact us at support@connectcompanion.com to request account deletion. Your profile and services will be removed, though some data may be retained for legal purposes.
What happens if I violate the Terms of Service?
Your account may be suspended or permanently banned without notice. We do not tolerate illegal activities, harassment, fraud, or misuse of the platform.
